Remote Desktop Connection - 7/11/2008 20:29:52
Can someone please teach me how to set up a remote desktop. I want to be able to use my laptop at home and be able to access my computer at work. A step by step instruction would be great. I am using XP Pro for both machines.

Another. This one from Kim Kommando ... "with GoToMyPC you don't need software on the laptop. Install the software on your home computer. Then log in to GoToMyPC's Web site from a remote computer. You're prompted to install a small executable, but you can opt not to do this. Instead, you can do everything in the Web browser without any software installation. You'll be able to access Quicken on your home computer. Since you're working over the Internet, things will be slower than usual. But it does the trick. As a bonus, you can access other programs and files on your computer. GoToMyPC is $20 per month. (Free Trial available) GoToMyPC is one of my advertisers. But I use the software myself. I think it is wonderful."
