Server status - 8/9/2008 8:05:07
Just wondering if anyone has heard the exact status of the server. I realize there were problems and I see some things have been fixed. But our site is still not up.

I have emailed Thomas several times and he said he would give me updates, but he has failed to do so.

Having one central point where updates are posted would be really helpful.

Here's the story.

We have given up on trying to reboot the server your site is on. The hard drive is dead. Our backup server is fine, and we have a replacement server up and running.

The process for getting the backups onto it is painstaking, however.

This is not a problem we can solve in an hour or 2. It's difficult for me to give you a firm time frame for getting all sites back online, but I think it will be less than 48 hours.

It would probably be much faster for us to recreate your account on our newest server. You could change the name servers and publish in a few hours.

Let me know if you want to go that route. Here are the name servers you would have to switch to.

NS2.NETPACENOW.NET
