The first two reduced paper to 1/4" strips, the third, also a Fellowes, cross-cut paper to confetti size. The latest, a Fellowes Intellishred Model MS-460Cs, reduces paper to bits no longer identifiable as such - about the size of grains of rice. This attractive, quiet machine is ideal for small business use. OEM List price is $459.00, "street price" is $329.00 and the best price I could find was at www.adorama.com for $189.99, plus shipping ,which I jumped on a couple of weeks ago. Don, The 460Cs advertises it shreds up to 10 sheets per pass (but will do more) as fast as 100 sheets per minute. It accepts staples and paper clips. The per pass sheet limit is low compared to some other machines because the output is so finely cut. Did I mention quiet? A second safety slot with separate 1-gallon media wastebasket accepts 3.5" floppies, CDs, and credit cards. This slot reduces input to strips, not particles. It's worked perfectly for about 2 years. They really are solid shredders. I did a quick price check, and the place you bought it from, Larry, is the absolute lowest price I can find. I have seen many cute girls in Minnesota but can't talk about N. Dakota not having been there. Don;t tkonk I'll go after your commmnt I used to go to place called Beech Island SC when I worked for Kimberly Clark and always had a great time with the girls at the paper mill.
