Wireless Network Question - 8/26/2008 11:32:02
My Dell Inspiron 9400 Laptop wireless connection works only sporadically - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't :) I typically use an ethernet cable but the fact that the machine isn't delivering full specs galls me no end. The SSID signal shows "Connected" and "Excellent" -my AT&T Service includes a constant IP.

I'm hopeful the following "Repair Wireless Network Connection" screen response may be a giveaway:

"Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed: Clearing the DNS cache"

Any help, ideas and/or suggestions very much appreciated :)

Try opening a command prompt and typing this:

ipconfig /flushdns

Hope it helps.
