Register Tags are automatically changing - 8/30/2008 21:18:55
I downloaded EW2 and am giving it a whirl. I'm having some problems because now all of my register tags are getting automatically changed, to something that doesn't work. These worked fine in EW1, but no longer do there either since I've loaded up EW2.
My tags should look like this:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="uc1" TagName="Footer" Src="../UserControl/Footer.ascx" %>
<%@ Register TagPrefix="uc1" TagName="Menu_right" Src="../UserControl/Menu_right.ascx" %>
but are getting changed to this whenever I save a page:
<%@ Register TagPrefix="uc1" TagName="Footer" Src="Footer.ascx" %><%@ Register TagPrefix="uc1" TagName="Menu_right" Src="Menu_right.ascx" %>
It not only puts them in line but also changes the location of the SRC file. This is driving me nuts. I can correct them with notepad and save and then publish and all is fine. But give EW2 a chance and it changes them.  Any thoughts appreciated!
