Inline Frame issue - can i set it to not reload each time? - 9/5/2008 16:56:08
Hi,

My homepage at http://cityguidetemplateuk.com.mytempweb.com/index.asp has an inline frame that displays the tabs towards the top of the center section of the page (where the scroll is). It loads sort of slowly...which would be ok the first time, but the problem is that when i navigate away from that page, then hit the back button....the contents bascially seems to have to completely reload. So it is slow every time. Is there a way to cache the contents of an iframe? So it doesn't reload the content each time that page is navigated to?

Thanks
John

Loads fine for me. Even when I navigate away from the page and then hit back the content is within the frame already.

It doesn't cache for me...and I would have expected the browser to cache it. It also looks like there is an iframe inside an iframe? The tabs are a different scripting from the scroller? Very interesting bit. I think I might have experimented with AJAX before iFrames.
