"Best" is such an open term, different people will recommend different ones, as you won't really find two people with the exact same opinion on this kind of thing.

Dreamweaver itself can't be learnt purely from tutorials, all they will do is give you a basic understanding of the program and allow you to create simple, and in some case, very effective websites.

Personally I'm not a fan of the Adobe tutorials, they have a habit of getting advanced, fairly quickly. Then again, I'm not a believer in tutorials, I go by the rule of "If all else fails, read the manual" :)

What you will also have to take note in is the fact that Dreamweaver for the beginner, in Design View, is very placid. It will create what you tell it to, however, for the novice, there isn't that much flexibility, without actually looking deep into some tutorials you will end up with a very static and "flat" website.

I would recommend any of the following, some are a bit diffiult to navigate round, but they do contain alot more info than the Adobe website.

Tutorialized's Dreamweaver Tutorials - All 376 of them.

CBT Café - A fair few good ones here, some done in flash so you can see exactly how it's done. Based on the Mac version, but the operation is the same

Haverford College Student - A few pointers and run throughs as written by a College student. Fairly simple to follow, but it's not all that well laid out.

N.Design Studio - An absolutley outsanding site, the tutorials are easy to follow, I usually send most people here to get the basics of Dreamweaver

And I'll stop there :)
