Another Redesign - 9/17/2008 23:14:40
I've decided to revamp my website.
This is my new page. I know some people will not like the large graphic on the home page - but I'm really liking it because it sums up the essence of the entire area in a big way.
All important links are right there without having to scroll in case someone doesn't want to scroll. I think of this as a compromise between a nice looking "splash" page and a useful home page.

The big graphic is trimmed for all internal page. Here is an example of the internal pages.
Internal Page
Many of the links on the page will not work or will go to the old site. For kicks, if anyone wants to see the old site, here it is.
It totally lacks personality and style and is plain ugly and I'm very ashamed of it.

generally looks good, but...
- the text needs a little more padding
- the green is a little bit too, well, green or maybe it needs a little bit of texture (subtle one) based on that colour

Thanks Dave. I'll add some padding - and I'm in the middle of trying to decide what to do with the background. I'm partial to "speckled" backgrounds (subtle speckles) but I've been told that speckles are "dated." LOL
I might do a gradient...I like the green but you're right, it's too overpowering.

Dave, check it out now. I found a background that is similar to either moss or evergreen trees or something...LOL. I also added a blog feed to the home page. I need to find a better one though because that one puts those "A" s at the bottom of each title which is annoying.
