RickP Posts: 715 Joined: 11/13/2004 From: Kent, U.K. Status: offline	Google Results - cached pages question - 9/18/2008 12:17:08 I put up a new website for these chaps twaps.co.uk and went live about two weeks ago. But when I search for the site on Google the results page still shows cached pages from their old website. Is there anything I can do to get Google to drop these old cached pages? Googlebot is showing in the site stats so it has definitely been round to index the new site. _____________________________ Regards, Rick On-The-Web-Now!

I didn't create the previous site so I don't have any quick way to redirect those pages. I assume that Google will at some point re-index and catch-up but I never know why it hangs on to certain cached pages and other things seem to update quite quickly - oh well, no doubt it will happen eventually.
