How make url point to sub folder - 9/22/2008 12:56:09
How do you go about setting up the url to point directly to a sub folder. For example, if my domain name is abc.com and I have a folder called xyzfolder, how do I create a url that will take someone directly to a specific page in the abc.com/xyzfolder without showing the full url of abc.com/xyzfolder/specific-page.htm I've see large web sites do this...for example www.chase.com/creditcards takes you directly to the credit card section of the web site. Thanks.

Rename the specific-page.htm page to index.htm and place that index page in that xyzfolder sub folder. In other words place a index.htm page in the xyzfolder. Then when your visitor inputs www.abc.com/xyzfolder he will get what used to be the specific-page.htm
