Automatic refresh in EW - 9/25/2008 4:18:55
We have multiple people adding/ editing materials in a single site using EW. I have just discovered that EW does not automatically refresh when I launch the application. Is there a setting that will force EW to update the site contents or does everyone have to remember to F5 often?

Here's a guess... When you have multiple people using Expession Web, ( I am assuming on a intranet) then since Expression is always open, it never gets a chance to refresh the directories. On a single user basis, when you close the program and open it again for updating it will automatically refresh.

Hi Don, Here is a scenario: our Administrator created three new documents on Tuesday. On Thursday. I had to look at then and they were not there. This is after everyone that has EW access to the web server had logged off and logged in at least twice. Refresh did the trick. So the question is: is there a setting in EW that will do this automatically?

This happens to me when working on my own system. I occasionally have to refresh EW because the pages created the day bbefore are missing. A refresh does the trick though.
