Recommend you try this shopping cart - 10/2/2008 13:56:39
Following on from a recent thread asking folk to recommend a shopping cart I have since found this little treasure in my travels: http://www.fatfreecart.com/ Basically, if you're looking for something free that is a simple step up from using the PayPal shopping basket this looks like a prize to me. I'm just trying it out, will maybe report more soon. They also offer a paid-up version with more features. I will certailnly be considering trying it out too - site here: http://www.e-junkie.com/ Anyone else used this or heard much about it?

For a 3rd party solution it looks good for individuals with just a few products. My only issue is with carts hosted on a 3rd party server. If the e-junkie server goes down the cart doesn't work. I'd rather trust my own server admins to keep our sites up and running; provide us with times when maintenance will occur, etc. Nice use of jquery!

Looks good except for the pop-up cart thing - not very accessible. Also - not sure about how it handles VAT?
