Updating DB in FP2002 - 12/13/2001 11:30:31
Hello all,
I have a database which will be updated bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) with customer information. My question is, do I have to rebuild the DRW everytime I update the DB? The fields will not change, only data within the fields.
(example: water bills change every month based on usage, past payments, etc.)
The DRW currently works within FP and my test page on the web. I just hope there is an easy way to update the Database. (I'm also using Spooky's DRW diet, already lost a few pounds ;-)
I'm sure this question/problem has come up before. Amy insight would be appreciated.

If everything is published and all the DRW stuff done by FrontPage, you're usually pretty safe copying (the local updated db)and pasting to your /fpdb/ folder when you open your site live.
As with everything else, you should make a backup first in case ANYTHING goes wrong...
