website submission tools - 10/6/2008 16:21:50
Years ago I used a website auto-submission tool for links. I can't remember the product. I eventually shyed away, scared I might get blacklisted. Does anyone use such a product these days, and if so, any recommendations?

Or is it only safe to manually submit to linking databases?

A tool to submit to the many small search engines? Or a tool to manage a link request campaign (I'll link to you if you link to me)? I've had great success without using either but I'd like to hear from others. Links to my sites are generally relevant and very rarely created by link swaps. I don't even mess with search engine submission but do create a google xml site map and let google know it's there.

What he said.

I'll manually submit it to Google (although to be honest not even that is totally necessary) and Yahoo but don't bother with the others. I may be completely wrong but I think that as long as Google gets you then the others are likely to take their information from there anyway.

I'm not sure that it would get you blacklisted (using the multiple submission tools anyway) but I'm not sure they have any actual advantage and some of these services cost money.

I have seen many submission tools on net. But, i was not confident that these tools will give good results. Did anyone used them if so, tell us your experiences and also do you recommend it or not.
