CSS and text transform - 10/12/2008 20:17:04
I've got a couple of heading classes on my current site set up with "text-transform: capitalize" in the CSS to try to overcome the problem of the client being inconsistent when updating the news section of the site with regard to whether the title's capitalised or not. Slight problem though as my trusty Visibone browser book's saying that it's this particular CSS property has "inconsistency between all implementations". It's slightly wrong on that, because so far all the browsers are showing consistency by totally ignoring it! :)

Anyone know if there's a workaround to this, or some other clever way of forcing text entered by Jaybee's type of clients (i.e. those without two brain cells to rub together) to display in uppercase?

:) Duh! Ignore me. I've just realised that "capitalize" only capitalises the first letter of each word when using "text-transform", and it's "uppercase" I need as the value to make all of the letters uppercase. Everything's working okay now. :)
