IIS Log Analysis Tool - 11/14/2008 12:33:28
I don't have access to the server so I can't place software on it. I'm given the server logs on a monthly basis and I have to run the reports from the log files. So what can I use to do that? Everything I've seen is dependent on being installed on the computer where the server is located. I just need something to read the log files. I found a tool on MS site that gives a command prompt as an interface. I'd rather not use that if I can help it. Help appreciated.

Web Log Explorer Log Analyzer might be something that you can use. They have a program that you run locally and you import the raw logs.
