May run and LAMP (PHP) from CDROM or only Linux may I ? running this has all run-linux advandages and MORE ? may run a web server from CDROM ?

You can run a server from a CD. Programs like Flying Ant or Server2Go are great. If you decide to go through with one of the above, make sure you edit the config files so that it opens the IP equivalent of localhost (127.0.0.1). We've had quite a few clients report issues with trying to bring up the server using the localhost address, alongside with IPv6.

configurations stay on the CDROM or needed on every run of the server from CD ?
