In order for your site to have a more visitors

Mojo -> RE: How to create a traffic? (2/10/2009 15:21:22)

This is a very open question that would be beyond the scope of this post to answer fully.

The short cut to traffic is a PPC program. Google and Yahoo both have something that could have you up and running very quickly. Of course, there are other advertising methods and SEO.

Hi,

PPC is the best paid way to get target traffic. And, social bookmarking and networking sites are the best ways to drive free traffic and to promote your business

Install a blog on your own .com. Create a Twitter account. Connect the RSS feed of the blog to twitterfeed. Post regularly to your blog which will then feed to twitter. It's all about content--make relevant, interesting and original posts.

by directory submission, social bookmarking, press release, article submission, forum posting (link signature), blog commenting etc.. by this SEO strategies you can create traffic

jaybee -> RE: How to create a traffic? (2/24/2009 7:18:00)

Plus the thing that everyone seems to forget.

Add your web link to the footer of every email you send out.
Put it on your business cards
Make sure it's on any advertising or leaflets
and
tell people about it. Word of mouth is one of the most powerful forms of advertising and it's free.

SEOMarketer -> RE: How to create a traffic? (11/25/2009 1:31:05)

Blog Commenting, social bookmarking, forum posting and video uploads will do. Just place your link there

It doesn't work though! Most forums have "nofollow" on outgoing links, and forum administrators and moderators can spot a spammer a mile off (they're usually the idiots who try and get around forum rules on signatures by manually typing a "signature" at the bottom of each post, or idiots who post one-line responses to just about every recent post trying to make out that they know what they're talking about when it's clear to everyone but them that they know sod all!). We've had a lot of those recently... [8|]

Same with blog commenting. WordPress 1.5 and above automatically assigns the nofollow attribute to all user-submitted links (comment data, commenter URI, etc), so you're wasting your time there, and I'd imagine other blog systems do a similar thing, or have an option for nofollow.

ravikant12 -> RE: How to create a traffic? (11/30/2009 10:24:12)

social bookmarking is the best way to get quality traffic but one thing may be in your mind content should be unique.

hunter jordan -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/4/2009 7:19:19)

My best sources would be social networking sites, links on other blogs, and repeat visits from regular readers. One more thing is driving traffic from existing visitors is a good idea, just by adding a tell a friend button on web site -- you can try the free widget from SocialTwist, visitors can automatically email their friends about your website whenever they find something they'd like to share.

seomul -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/21/2009 11:45:43)

In order to increase traffic things to be followed are.
Submissions,
Link building
Article posting
social book marking etc.

caz -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/21/2009 13:21:15)

Blimey, you are all parroting each other and not an original thought amongst you all. (Mojo, Jaybee, womble and TWD excepted [;)])

Felicia -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/24/2009 7:21:44)

Hi there,

you should definitely start with is finding out best keywords to promote your site. Actually id like to add that for the beginners (well, for all the rest too) would be a good thing to spy on competitors a little and learn from them. probably that a lot of keywords that your competitors use will be good for you. for example semrush or keywordspy can show you many of them.

Couldn't have put it better myself Caz. Actually, I did think about putting something similar the other day, but couldn't be @rsed - I doubt our link spamming friends can actually be bothered to read the content of threads.

treetopsranch -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/24/2009 14:18:10)

I wish our forum mods would just delete all posts that have the words "traffic" and "backlinks" in the subject line. Those words seem to attract spammers.

seomul -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/24/2009 15:34:20)

Work hard on your site..nothing can be impossible..

treetopsranch -> RE: How to create a traffic? (12/24/2009 17:41:41)

See, I told you so.

Okay, so I know the above's one of those damned spammers again, but does anyone know the meaning of "you should advertise firs your site in order to generate traffic form your site and that SEO is a best method for that"?

Fir cones? Fir trees? How does advertising firs generating traffic, unless of course people are wanting to buy firs? Is the advertising some hitherto unknown wonder SEO tactic that our new friend singko has stumbled upon? If so, where can I learn more about this wondrous technique?

/skips off to add little fir trees to all her sites....

submissionguru -> RE: How to create a traffic? (2/6/2010 13:47:43)
