Hi

You'll need to ensure that you're using a full DOCTYPE and valid code otherwise it's difficult to do. I can't check your link as it's not working for some reason.

Have a look at this link - it should do the trick: http://www.cssstickyfooter.com

The site is built in tables and the footer content is in the last row.

Ooh tables? God knows then. Table layouts are so 1997! :)

Negative - yes but you know if you've posted in a css forum using table-layouts... it sort of makes it hard to help! We'd be delighted to offer help on how to learn better techniques to lay out your page and then you can use the link that I originally posted which does exactly what you asked.

It's not really all that negative - just a case of what you're asking for with the webs current design format is next to impossible to achieve.

@Tail - I don't think that's exactly what's wanted, I do believe that Shiremora is asking for a footer that sticks to the bottom of the browser window rather than the bottom of the HTML document output. that CSS Sticky footer only stays at the bottom of the page when there's a low level of content, not when you scroll the page ;)

@Shiremora

It is possible to do it with your current set-up, however, only with Javascript and is very clunky at the best of times.

By posting in the CSS forums, you've basically asked for a CSS solution, which does exist, but only for CSS based designs. The link, as stated by Tail, does not work, if you could provide us with a working link, we could offer advice on how to go about it, as the only page we have access to on the site is the main page of the .com domain - which looks like it was coded in an old version of Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

Unfortunatley, we can't help you unless you give us some more to go on.

Gio

I didn't look too closely at it tbh Gio! There's a CSS technique called stickyfooter that does just that - has the footer permanently at the bottom of the viewport whatever happens - thought this was an updated version of it!
