bottom floating footer - 3/6/2009 9:11:01
client wants thier footer locations bar to appear right above the bottom menu bar in explorer...is there any way to do this. This is the pending site: http://www.petrosvs.com/psi1/

It's not really all that negative - just a case of what you're asking for with the webs current design format is next to impossible to achieve. @Tail - I don't think that's exactly what's wanted, I do believe that Shiremora is asking for a footer that sticks to the bottom of the browser window rather than the bottom of the HTML document output. that CSS Sticky footer only stays at the bottom of the page when there's a low level of content, not when you scroll the page ;) @Shiremora It is possible to do it with your current set-up, however, only with Javascript and is very clunky at the best of times. By posting in the CSS forums, you've basically asked for a CSS solution, which does exist, but only for CSS based designs. The link, as stated by Tail, does not work, if you could provide us with a working link, we could offer advice on how to go about it, as the only page we have access to on the site is the main page of the .com domain - which looks like it was coded in an old version of Dreamweaver or Frontpage. Unfortunatley, we can't help you unless you give us some more to go on. Gio
