catarackid Posts: 1 Joined: 3/11/2009 Status: offline	WMV file won't play on Firefox?? - 3/11/2009 12:27:05 I put a WMV video on my home page and it plays fine on IE but not only does it not play on Mozilla's firefox but it doesn't even show a blacked out video box. This has been driving my nuts so if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance.

Trouble is that a .wmv file will only play on windows machines unless the mac owner has a windows plugin (and why would they). You might want to consider converting the vid to flash which is usually more compressed and more people will be able to access it.
