Problem with FrontPage uploading - 3/24/2009 12:00:08
Hi all. I think I’ve put this in the right place. I’ve got a problem with FrontPage it will not upload. It’s stupid because my other P.C uploads fine. You know when you press the `publish` button at the top, by the save button, it comes up with the pop up menu where you can choose how you want to upload, FP or share point and the rest, I click on the one I want to upload through and then I enter my web address, I’ve tried it with and without encryption (SSL) and not much is happening. Nothing opens telling me I’ve done something wrong it just shows a blank screen telling me it’s `looking` for my site. The thing that I don’t get is it’s not even showing the pages on my computer that are to be uploaded. It’s just blank on both sides. I’m trying to get it to upload on a laptop at the moment if that’s any help.

I am guessing you are choosing FrontPage Server Extensions (when you say you click on the one you want)? FrontPage is Running Slow might help some.

one thing I've found with some hosts is that the destination URL needs to be typed in perfect form. Some hosts need a trailing backslash also... Try http://www.yoursite.com and http://www.yoursite.com/
