I have had this website working for some time. Then, the form crashed. i rebuilt it. Yes, Frontpage extensions are installed. (Uninstalled and reinstalled again to be sure.) I read the FAQs and found this: In 2003, go to Tools >> Page Options >> Authoring and check both Browse-time Web Components and Author-time Web Components. As in '00 and '02, uncheck "Automatically enclose form fields within a form" under General here as well. I did this and it still isn't working. Can someone please help. It is a simple form and my client is not happy. http://www.hopeak.com

Are you publishing to http://www.example.com? Is this being hosted on a GoDaddy server (GoDaddy and FrontPage Forms)? Have you tried to send to an email address that is associated with the domain name? Have you tried to process the form without submitting the results to a file on the server?

Thank you for your quick reply. I'm sure you have said this stuff a hundred times. Yes I am publishing with www.hopeak.com into a GoDaddy server. I read the link and it seems I have it all correct. (Clearly something is up.) I have sent emails to the address listed in the form. I took out the send to file name _private/form_results .csv, republished and it still didnt work. I put it back in. This all worked before and now I just don't know why it broke. I talked to godaddy and they said to reinstall frontpage extensions to see if it would fix it, which I did. No luck. Any other ideas?

Corey or whomever, I have tried creating and using an email address associated with the domain name. I even tried a non yahoo email. The form used to work. So, I rebuilt the form and it is still not working. www.hopeak.com I reset Frontpage extensions on Wild west domains, a part of godaddy. Still won't work. Any ideas? I have a frustrated client...no wonder. -Cheryl

Ask your hosting company if the mail server is allowing emails from the website. They may have to manually correct the situation for you if the answer is 'no'.

I called Wild West Domains and they said that the mail server should be sending emails. I tested emails to all accounts I set up, including yself and I got emails...not from the form, from my their online email servers. I just can't get the form to send the client an email when someone fills out the form. It gives a Frontpage error. They said they are sending me a script to replace my frontpage form...that scares me. Any other ideas? -Cheryl

I repeat, ask if the mail server is allowing emails from the website. I have dozens and dozens of websites that use FP forms and this occasionally has been the problem. Now that I know, I can tell tech support to check this first before we pull our hair out.
