Link Bars - 4/23/2009 15:09:03
I'm not sure what I did - the tabs on the left side show up with no text except one -the HOME tab, or show text in a box.

All looks fine on the back end, but when I publish -nothing. The links work - for the most part - but that's another problem.

Any suggestions?

Are you publishing to a server?
Do they have Front Page extensions installed?
URL?

Extensions look like they are running: http://www.saundersbros.com/_vti_inf.html
Try "recalculate hyperlinks" and publish again to see if that cures it.

Yes, something definitely wrong with your navigation menu. You also need to check out your website in FireFox. It does not render correctly in FireFox.

Is that a FP generated nav menu?

I have learned not to use FP themes as they have been a constant cause of headaches for me.

You need a valid DocType also.

OK, I recalculated the links and republished - no change.

The theme is a template in front page. I inherited the web site when I took over the position.

What is so frustrating is that it looks and functions as it should when I am Normal View. For some reason it is not publishing the shared borders correctly or at all.
