Send an invitation - 5/11/2009 13:52:29
Trying to send out invitations via the FP Administration - Users and Roles - Send an invitation. I had it working for a short period of time then it stopped working.

The 'wizard' goes through the send steps and the user name is added to the users list but the invitation never arrives. Because I have used multiple different user emails to send the invitation to, I don't think it is a spam filter keeping the email invites from arriving.

Anyone know what I need to check, turn on, turn off or otherwise kick to get this working? I have search unsuccessfully for any kb articles or other helps on this invitation wizard. We are using a web host so do not have access to do anything on the server except ask them to fix things. Other FP extensions appear to be working just fine on the site.

This is my first post here. I do appreciate any help you can give me on this invitation business.

Regards,

Jenny

It's somewhat common for FP sites to have a default email address that uses a different domain than the actual site. In such cases, the emails that FP tries tos end never have a chance these days because the listed "from" domain and the true "from" domain are different.

Not sure that's the case here, but maybe?
