Photo borders askew in IE8 - 5/27/2009 19:46:43
I have hundreds of photos on my website with a simple "class" called "photoborder" that puts a 1-pt black border around each photo. All is well in older IE's and Firefox, etc. However in IE8, all of the photos look like they are pushed to the side and there is just a hair-line of white space showing. I have no other css style for the photos and they are enclosed in a simple centered, 8pt font for captions. Anyone know why IE8 is doing this to me (and hundreds of my photos)? I do have the meta-tag to add so the pages will load as IE7, but am not real excited about adding that to all my master pages and html pages - I just want IE8 to work. Thanks in advance. I am still working on the website: RV Goddess tgt

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. Easy to fix too - even for me, and it worked! You are the best, thanks again so much.
