Forms issue - 6/10/2009 9:30:13
I have 3 forms on our site. Sometimes someone will report that they cannot subit the form, as it is asking them for a username and password. I can replicate the problem and find that works when says when internet address box shows http://www.bristolmanagement.com/eMailUs.htm, but when not working on some it shows http://bristolmanagement.com/eMailUs.htm. No www. before it. Should I redirect the DNS setting to autoforward to the www.address, or is there a script to put in place for the forms to work?

I think you will probably be OK if you just delete and recreate the forms. Your host should be able to fix them if not.

Been there, done that on redoing the forms. GoDaddy is my host, what should I tell them to fix?

My understanding is that Godaddy won't help with FP related issues. I get a lot of business from them that way. I guarantee to fix any broken FP forms hosted on my servers. You can see more info on that at the url below if you're interested. http://outfront.net/hosting/outfront_hosting.htm
