My Host will be removing FP Extensions on July 1, 2009. Does anyone know what will be effected when they are discontinued? Thanks Jack

FrontPage Forms won't work. You will have to use FTP to publish. We will be supporting FP server extensions for many years at the url below. http://www.outfront.net/hosting/outfront_hosting.htm Thomas Brunt

Interestingly, one of my hosts also said they were going to remove FP extensions a couple of years ago. They never have.

Where can you download FTP, and is it hard to use? My web hosting company has also made noises about discontinuing extensions. I have a (non-FrontPage) database also on the site that I don't know how to move, so I'm stuck.with my current host.

Hi, In 2008 Microsoft has removed the support of FrontPage for the Windows Environment. Hence, now many hosting service provider has removed the support..and still many are still providing on their technical team. If your service provider does not support FP in that case you can not run FrontPage pages and have to use FTP to publish the site. If you want to stay with FromtPage then you will have to find another service provider which provides supports of FP.

Here is a list of what needs FPSE (extensions) to work http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/m-96938/tm.htm However many hosts still offer Frontpage extensions, you just have to shop around.

I just lost my database connections. I linked two websites to two different databases and now both give me JET errors. Same Host: Can someone explain how to connect to an MDB - and Show a Query Result on a web page without using FP2003. Thanks
