I currently use shared reseller hosting, which by and large is going pretty smoothly these days - except that the server IP gets periodically put on the Hotmail naughty list and email accounts on the server are unable to send to Hotmail addresses - a common problem with many shared hosts these days I know.
My reseller package has reached its domain limits so I am thinking of going for a VPS. I make use of PHP scripts (and MySQL on a couple of sites) and so presumably would be best off on a linux server - right?
Now, if I book a VPS on a linux server I haven't got a clue what might be involved in managing it - Is it difficult? Is there much to it? What is the most important things I will need to know?
Finally, the old chestnut... can anyone recommend a VPS hosting company?
