My website content is misaligned in Explorer...help! - 6/20/2009 13:53:08
Hi there - this is my first post, so I hope I'm in the right area. My website seems to display correctly in all browsers - except Internet Explorer! Can anyone help? This is the site: www.altartist.com Parts that are misaligned seem to be the Join form on the first page, and the footer information when you click on the Contact tab. Any advice much appreciated!

I'm not seeing any issues in IE 7. Are you using 8?

Thanks. The alignment problem has been resolved - now the only problem seems to be the Watch section which seems to jump to the left instead of staying in alignment with the other pages. Not hugely worrying though, and I'm sure there's a simple solution to that one! Thanks again.

Great site, btw. I'm not seeing anything that would cause that problem when I view the source code, but I remember experiencing that kind of problem when I was using Expression Web version 1. That software will sometimes insert a funky character at the beginning of the source code which causes IE (only IE) to freak out. I don't recall if I could see the character when I viewed source from a browser or not, but it was there in EW and notepad when I opened it for editing. I only recall running into the problem on pages with some php code in them, however. I would remove the character, and EW would replace it when I saved it. The only way to get it out was to edit that file in notepad and remember never to open it in EW's editor. Not completely convinced that's what's up here, but maybe.
