Footer in outfront template - 7/16/2009 11:41:21
I have downloaded and am editing the 'worldweb-plus' template from OutFront. I'm doing ok, using FrontPage 2003. At the bottom is a footer that currently reads "Copyright and contact information goes here." I can open properties here, but there is no text to edit or add.

Can someone tell me how to edit this section?

It's been years since I made that, but I'm guessing it's an include page. I usually put the include pages in a folder called _includes.

There would be a file called footer.htm or something similar in there that you can edit.

Well I looked and there is not one. The readme states that there would be "_includes" folder with these files, but the folder does not exist. So I am at a loss. Most of the files are named according to their coresponding page or section.

I got the template from the OutFront site, so not sure what happened.

Try doing Tools > Site Settings > Advanced > Check "show docs in hidden directories."

I'm looking at that template right now, and the _includes folder is there, but it may be invisible to you if you don't have that box checked.

I am using the worldweb-plus template from the all zip file found at http://www.outfront.net/frontpage-web-templates-3.htm I just re-unzipped it into another folder. There is no _includes folder. I even changed my XP folder options to show protected operating system files, and still not showing.

I am at a loss here.

Sorry. I was looking at the regular Wordlweb. The plus version uses shared borders. The bottom shared borders is in the _borders folder.
