refresh issue - 7/16/2009 14:06:28
I have a website that I frequently update. As a result, several users complain that they are not seeing the updated Home Page when they return to the site. I then have to walk them thru the refresh process which at times includes clearing cache and possibly rebooting, depending on how 'dirty' their computer is. At times I feel more like a tech support person than a website guy. Is there a way around this issue?

You can add some code within your head tags, that will tell the browser not to cache the page, however, it doesn't always listen. <meta http-equiv="pragma" content="no-cache"> Needs to go between the <head> and </head> tags.

Thanks BobbyDouglas. I'll give it a try.
