Error Message from Host System - 8/26/2009 14:22:44
I have been using Spooky for a few years now with no problem until about 3 months ago. I and numerous web site users have incurred the following error message:

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'
System resource exceeded.
/includes/a_login.asp, line 37

I contacted the host (StartLogic) and they implied the problem was that the software did not have an automatic disconnect when people left and thus files were building which blocked access. Usually I can back in after a short period of time.

Can you tell me if this is in fact a problem with Spooky or something else? If a Spooky problem is there a fix? I'm not a programmer so please keep it simple.
Thanks

I'm wondering if it is a spooky login problem at all, especially if it has ran fine for the past few years (as well as on many other websites). Do you know what type of hosting you're on? Meaning, are you sharing an application pool with other folks on the server (I'm guessing so), or all by yourself. You may want to see if the host knows if other people on your server are getting this error also? My thinking is the host may have too many folks in your application pool or server and the resources are running low in general for how many are in your pool. OR, since spooky's been okay for years, some other website is having difficulties, or a huge amount of traffic/users, and they are using up the resources. Or, of course, if you've added something to your site etc. it could be causing problems too.
