Hello, so sorry I bet this question has been done to death.

Its a tad out of place.

how can I fix this? frustrating, looks fine in other browsers.

actually I think in the older mozilla browser, the top of the site might be
cut off?!?

Your DOCTYPE needs to be on the first line. You would be better served by properly laying out this site using CSS instead of a table. Tables are for tabular data...not layout.

In addition to what TexasWebDevelopers said, try removing the height attribute from the table cells and remove the <h1> tag from that gcplogo.gif

That logo should really be a jpg file. Gifs are color limited.

You do know that some of your viewers may not have the fonts that you are using, like Edwardian Script ITC and Vrinda don't you?

Thanks so much for the replies guys. Yes I was aware
about the fonts, those are images, I still have to delete
the part in the style sheet that I was previously
testing. Ive got a bit of tidying up to do.
Your right, css is the way forward and not tables
for layout purposes, but just for now I seem to have
fixed the issue in the firefox browser.
thanks again for your help and any other
feedback is always appreciated.

The logo, the block with many colors, is still not positioned correctly in FF. Unless your intent was to have it displaced to the right..
