2146824584 (0x800a0e78) DRW error - 11/2/2009 13:18:39
We recently had a HD crash which was running our Intranet. I have one small search page that queries an access database that people have come to depend on like food. I move our backup files to 2 different servers, one is a Win2k Adv SP4 server running IIS5 and FP2002 extensions. The other is a Win2003 running IIS6 w/ FP2002 ext. Both are giving me the following error when I try to run the DRW This DSN-less connection verifies and if I set it up as DSN...it verifies...so I'm not sure why I get the DWF error about not being able to connect. Server error: Unable to retrieve the list of record sources from a database using the connection string: Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=\\fsokcnas01\data\db\WebDB\files_dbxp.mdb;Uid=domain\userid;Pwd=secretpassword;. The following error message comes from the database driver software; it may appear in a different language depending on how the driver is configured. ------------------------------------------------------- Source: ADO Number: -2146824584 (0x800a0e78) I'm trying to run the DRW because these are the results I get when running a query Database Results Error Your page contains a query with user input parameters that could not be resolved. This could happen if your DatabaseRegionStart webbot has an empty or missing s-columnnames or s-columntypes attributes. You may need to read Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 817029. I downloaded the FP2000 inc files and backed up/replace the current files....same results. Help! :0) Sam

I RE-Copied the FP2000 inc files and it works...however! I had to copy my mdb file to the fpdb folder on the webserver. For the life of me, I cannot get it to work when connecting to DSN on my own network. Seems like it might be a rights issue, but I've tried settings in the DSN for the user etc to no avail. Anyone got any other insites? Sam
