My website has changed - 1/28/2010 10:15:54
Dear All, Since 2002 I am working with Frontpage and I didn't face any issue. As usually, I uploaded my website and I published it through Frontpage. When I open my website with Frontpage from my personal computer I have noticed that some photos, banners, bullets, buttons and links are not working! Now I would like to publish my website but I consider this matter in order to resolve it, before I proceeded with the uploading/ publishing via Fronpage. I could upload my website (folder) to you via FTP for example, by using FileZilla FTP Client, and You could do the appropriate changes / amendments and then resend it back to me! Thanks, aa

You say your banners, buttons and photos are no longer working on your local web? If you created this web then you should know how to fix it. Check links first. For $50.00 US an hour I will try to do it for you. Post link to your website so that we can have a look at what you have done so far.

Thanks for your help! Below I attached a file which contains code that uses Frontpage Extensions as a result, the form is being submitted to a Frontpage Extension page instead of the .mf file. The form is being redirected to that error page. Could you remove the form code relating to Frontpage Extensions from that page entirely? Once you do that, the form should submit to the .mf file that is used for Misk.com Mail Form service! Thanks, Anton <html> <head> <title>Misk.com Hosting Mail Form Example</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us"> <title>Feedback</title> <meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0"> <meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document"> <meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="pixel 011"> </head> <body><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse"> <tr> <td width="49" colspan="2" align="center"> <p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"> <a href="http://www.agora-gallery.com/" target="_blank"> <img border="0" src="photogallery/logoForLinks2.gif" hspace="3" width="125" height="78"></p> </td> <td align="center" width="907"><p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"> <img border="0" src="HEADERS/feedback2.gif" width="621" height="60"></td> </tr> <tr> <td width="882" colspan="3" style="border-bottom-style: none; border-bottom-width: medium"> <p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"></td> </tr> </table><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td style="border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width: 1" align="right"> <h4 style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"></h4> </td> </tr> </table><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="border-collapse: collapse"> <tr> <td valign="top" width="140" style="border-style: none; border-width: medium"> <p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify"> <!--webbot bot="Navigation" S-Orientation="vertical" S-Rendering="graphics" S-Type="siblings" B-Include-Home="TRUE" B-Include-Up="FALSE" S-Theme="nature 100" --> </p> <p align="justify" style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><br> </p> <p align="justify" style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"> </p> </td> <td valign="top" width="5" style="border-style: none; border-width: medium"> <p style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify"></td> <td valign="top" height="100%" style="border-style: none; border-width: medium" width="697"> <h3 align="justify" style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0"><font size="3" face="Book Antiqua" color="#FF0000"> Tell me what you think about my website. Which form were you trying to keep? You have two. You also have two sets of HTML tags -- <html> through to </html> .

Wow. I went to your page. Try this... tried to clean it up a bit. There is a LOT of extra "stuff" there.

RE: My website has changed - 2/5/2010 3:50:48
Thanks you very much! I have done the changes and Now the Contact Us Form works! The only problem is when I would like to use a Captcha image to block form spam and include this setting in my test.mf file (see attached screenshot -test.mf file), then @recaptchaFailPage is pointing to the page I want the visitor redirected to should they enter the wrong text from the image and does not work (see attached screenshot - recaptchaFailPage). In addition, we can add more fields to Misk Contact Us.htm Form (see attached screenshot- Misk Contact Us.htm Form) and the file test.htm is merely an example of what can be done! I attached a PDF file to look over the guidelines describing what is supported by my hosting provider and it will help you setup any form with their Mail Form service. Another issue, as instructed in the pdf my hosting provider provides a Mail Form service which I can setup a confirmation page to notify people of their form being submitted successfully within the test.mf file. My confirmation page is listed as: @redirPage=confirm2.htm within the test.mf file. This is merely a redirect and will not pass Form Information to the page in order to show people what was submitted. That is currently not a feature of my hosting provider Mail Form service. According to this (see the attached screenshot- confirm2.htm), could you make the necessary changes to confirm2.htm in order to notify people of their form being submitted successfully with a more detailed and presentable way, for example, showing what the visitors have requested (visitors input), their details, their comments, etc and at the bottom maybe will be better if we would add a web link back to the Form! Don, I have already apologized for appending to another "thread" because I am a newbie and that was my first attempt and could not figure out how to start a new thread; but if makes you feel better, I will apologize to you again for the appendage. Have a nice day! Delores

Thanks David! I will bookmark that page for future reference. Fortunately, my web host finally figured out what they could do to eliminate my problem. That doesn't mean I won't need to come back again, just for information and draw on the experience of others. Have a nice day! Delores
