Shaman,

Tough subject to build a website around. Start by going for consistancy in navigation, background, font, etc. You have a ton of material laid out as if it were taken from several books and just lumped together. Bring some of the images into the pages to provide a more visual feel (you can still have a photo library section - but just one, you don't need two). Most important take some time to read this post.

There's a ton of good stuff.

Good Luck

I think, therefore I am, I think.

Gotta go with what Mike54 said, it's tough.

I would start with the information on Joseph M. D'Angelico, a little family, home town item. How he got into the service, and maybe timeline more clearly to when he was KIA. Than maybe some of his unit history and what going on now like the dogtag portion.

Get a big piece of paper and layout what you want people to know about him and his service time, when it make sense to you and flows smoothly from one area to the next you'll be done.

Any war is such a waste of life, I lost relatives also, lots of people did, and I applaud you effort to keep the memory alive.

Sincerely

Smitty

Shamanusavet,

I don't know if you listen to country music but a song named "Riding with Pvt. Malon" is getting alot af air time. It's about this private's new 1966 corvette and the letter he left in the glove box. If you hear it you'll know what I'm talking about.

Hi Shaman,

Ya know what? Leave the site just as it is.
I went there and knew in an instant what it was all about. Had no trouble whatsoever in figuring out any navigation.

Sure, you could do some things fancier... but this site gets to you immediately... it did me.

My vote says leave it alone....this site tells a story without the use of any bells and whistles.

But alas, I do have one thing to say... perhaps you could put his birth and death years under the picture.

Great site....brought tears to my eyes.

Bravo.

Support your local piper, buy him a beer and lean him against the wall.
