mzwizard -> Subdomains and FP extensions (12/25/2001 14:21:38)

Can you use FP to publish subdomians or do you have to FTP? and if you DO FTP, does is mess up your FP extensions that are set on your root domain?

In other words, can you mix the two? Or am I stuck with FTPing (and therefore NOT having "live" editing capability) if i'm uisng subdomains in addition or instead of subdirectories?

I believe you will have to install the FP Server Extensions in the directory the subdomain is pointing to on the server end in order for that to work. If you set them up as subwebs you would be able to do it through publishing.

Depend on how your server structure your subdomain.
