Using Sliced Images in FP2000 - 7/1/2001 16:45:00
I would like to find out how you can place sliced images in FP2000 without the page looking funny. See the link below. How was it done? Did the lines on the side repeat themselves as text was typed in the box?

Thanks.

You need to use tables to place sliced graphics successfully in a web page.

I'm assuming those side lines are tiling cell backgrounds, the cell held open by a clear .gif, though I didn't take the time to study it out thoroughly.

If you use that template, the home button needs to be remade as it "jumps" on rollover.

Hi Sandy, Thank you very much for responding. I therefore need to create tables for each of the sliced image and have each table cell act as a place holder? I'd also like to find out how I can make the middle area for the body to hold text while maintaining the border around it. Will it expand on its own or do I need to preset its height and width?
