pictures - 1/7/2002 23:00:18
is the .gif the best way to display graphics?
some of my pictures, taken with a digital camera, have holes in them, like transparent pixels.
the background color shows through.
is this from converting to gif
the holes are not always in the same place in the same picture.

To display for the web...
Photos - Jpeg or jpg
graphic images, buttons - Gif
Hope you kept your digital photos in their original jpg format as you cant change them back to original quality once they have been converted and saved as gif.
