can't rename file. - 1/10/2002 11:08:09
When I go to publish my site I get through frontpage I get the error
message
"Can't rename file filename.bak" My good file is filename.htm
I can't delete it from the list, and the site won't publish. any help
would be appreciated. I have checked the server extensions and all
permissions.

try recalculating the hyperlinks. if that doesn't work have another go at the permissions

I had that problem once and it had to do with the server password file. Contact your ISP. If you are publishing locally then??? Log-in?
All this to change a number into a name...
