server timed out error - 1/14/2002 16:02:12
Okay guys, here it goes. I know that this is a login error but I don't know how to fix it. If I use '98 I don't get this error, but if I use 2000 I do. PLease help a frustrated techy!!!!!!

can u give details...Webserver?, does it timeout before you reach login or after you type password?

I am using FP 2000, Server is Windows NT. I don't really have to login to anything because I am working via network.
I go to file -> open web select my web and press open. Then it gives me the message.

Actually, NT is Good! Do a search for wecerr.* If it doesn't exist goto IIS Admin from start-->nt admin tools-->IIS admin. please bear with me on these abbreviations, Im not at the NT box. right click on the web site and look for authentication methods. Pick one, Nt auth is easiest since it works off of your login to network.
All this to change a number into a name...
