Root Web Busy - 1/15/2002 0:35:22
I'm getting stopped in the middle of publishing and other times cannot get past the message: "Server Error <Root Web> is busy. Please try again." Can someone help? I saw similar queries, but I'm not sure I understand the answers given.
Just tryin' to learn a little somethin'...

server configuration problem
from microsoft quote:

The user account does not have rwxd permission to the _vti_pvt directory of the corresponding web; specifically, the user doesn't have access to the Service.lck file
check the permissions on the _vti_pvt folder...
All this to change a number into a name...
