Nice. Fast loading with good clean navigation.

If you want me to be picky, I don't care for the shade of blue for the links.
No alt tags for the few graphics I noticed.
Personally like to see a color change on mouse over for links, particularly when they are close togther like the list of universities.
The particular shade of blue on the top of the opening page makes it really hard to see with text that small, but I asume that is there in case someone stubles across the site before you are ready for business.

Hi, xterradane.

I agree about the color of the links. And on the aboutus page that underlined, light blue text for the executive bio really looked like a link but it wasn't.

I was looking using IE5 and the bar that was on the bottom of the index page was not on the bottom of all the pages. When I was on the aboutus page, I could not find a link back to the homepage. I think a home button would be nice.

And like Richard said, don't forget the alt-text.

Tony

Good clean look but some of the links were in white so it appeared there wasn't a link...Sign up on the login screen and the email contact was like that.

May want to check those out.

I didn't notice the links at the bottom till I had ben through a few pages, they're kind of lost and separated a bit too much. The graphic on the first page made me laugh. I'm not into fitness (see avatar) so not sure if that's good or bad or time for a drink! The links on the career tools page were in times and very hard to read, but would be better in verdana like the rest of the site. Good start!

The site is fast loading & easy to read.

On the http://www.fit-jobs.com/JobSearch.htm - the text on the right (your resume) looks lost.

I agree with EWD about bottom buttons. I saw on 1st page but I missed when I went to Career tools since thae page is long.

Thanks for the advice. I have already started to make some changes. I will have to get to the others tonight. I could work on this site all day long, too bad I have to work somewhere else to support the habit!

Hi Gail,

Took a quick look in NS and your weight lifter is covering the text to his left. There is some squishing in IE and in Opera at 800x600 as well. Also there is an error message at the top of the page
<% If Request("WrongPW") = "True" Then Response.Write "Invalid Password. Please try again.
" Else If Request("NotFound") = "True" Then Response.Write "Email Address not found. Please check your entry or register
again. Your registration information is deleted after 6 months of no account activity.
" Else Response.Write "Please enter your email address and password to login to the system." End If End If %>
This message also occurs on company.htm below the menu bar. The error message also shows up in Opera. In IE (at 1024x768)the site looks good...

I think, therefore I am, I think.

Does the error message only show up in Opera and in NS, but not in IE. I am not getting the error.

I'm only seeing it in those two browsers. Everything looks fine in IE. It's in the page code, does it belong there, is it needed? You should be able to remove it without any problem unless you're expecting the visitor to log in. Did you use a different page as a template for the problem pages? It isn't on all the pages just a few. Apparently O and NS just don't comprendez.

I think, therefore I am, I think.

I too get the <% If Request ... snip .... If %> text at the top.

Also, the little guy lifting the dumbbell is messing up the list of profession categories. He's inserted himself after exercise physiologist, and covers up a lot of the other ones too.

This is with NN 4.7. If you'd like I can post a screen capture. Neither of these problems are apparent in IE 6.0
