MySQL help PLZ - 7/10/2001 13:27:00
Hi,

I am trying to setup a database using MySQL from my Host server. I had setup the database name and all the table. But I am having problem trying to access it using FP form.

Im suppose to use the DSN data access. Is there any way I can do this easier that what it is.

You need to use DSN to access MySQL DBs - what are you having a problem with?

How do I tell my form to write and access MySQL database...? Connecting to it I mean.

Especially add to database and read from it.

Use Perl, PHP - just about any scripting language.

I dont know PHP or Perl. Is there a place I can go to get a quick reference to write the code?

Easy info area.. Where it is easy to understand what the person said.

Thanks,

Take a look at some premade scripts here:

http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Database_Manipulation/SQL_Databases/

or
