First attempt - 1/16/2002 22:10:14
A couple months ago I could barely use a couple programs then decided to buy FP2002 and create a website. I know I have a lot of clean up to do, slow pages, too much content on some, not quick enough on grabbing attention and directing to appropriate page, but wonder what you all might think. Please make all the suggestions you wish, it's welcome.

Looks quite good - nice & clean - have to scroll down home pg quite alot to read the list of questions - your sample newsletter page has graphics half missing & unaligned tables (i'm using ns4.72). From the info on your home page if your co was in Canada up here I'd probably give you a call!!

It is a nice clean look.

On the http://www.myhomeloanconsultant.com/Sample%20Newsletter.htm - you might want to adjust the text box. The 2nd line looks to tight to me.

On the http://www.myhomeloanconsultant.com/FreeReports.htm - You might want to adjust your lines since they do not go all way across.

I like the template you used. It is nice.

Thanks, Erin, I really appreciate all of the feedback from this post. I don't know how to do what you suggest so I'll have to get back and dig in again. Wow, this is cool.

On the line - looking at your code all you would need to do is add more ***********. I originally thought you had used an image file & was going to suggest you change in Paint Shop Pro.

On the text box you could change font size or adjust box size.

Hope this helps.

Beautiful site. Did you use a template for this?

Hi, cch130.

At the bottom of the hmomepage the email contact is not a link just text. I think you should make it a link.

Nice work

cch130, I also liked your template, The colors and layout look good and clean to me..I tested it with netscape6.2 and IE5.5 everything looked good. Next I tried to look at it for avisitors point of view. Wow. Text, text and more text.. I would recommend a briefer more basic approach, with links to more specific information if visitor wants it or needs it. I did not check all your links. the ones I did work fine. The other thing that bugs me is your entry page must be scrolled down. I realy hate that when I go to a site.I think your index/entry page should stop at just above Learn how to. You've done alot of work and it shows. Now make it user friendly.. , you got a winner.

Nice site with lots of information. I agree on the scroll though. My suggestion would be to shorten the scroll with links to another page. For instance on the first page you could break at "Questions you should ask yourself" I see the web site as a marketing tool and the key is to get possible customers interested enough to contact you. If they have to work to hard to read everything they may leave.

looks great
i am brousing with opera 6.0

are the green boxed arrows in the right column links? if so they don't work for me.

text is way huge on the guarantee page, could be smaller, you sure don't miss it.

in the mortgage center page you have two navigation buttons off the page to the right? if viewed full screen it looks okay. all your other pages size to the screen.

is there supposed to be text in the about us page, i don't see any.

there is some shift in your header when moving through pages. might be a table percent problem.

wow, there is really a ton of info in this site. i agree with more links to smaller amount of specific text in each.

it really looks good. it is comfortable to look at. it is consistant from page to page and you know where to look for info or links.

great job

I don't have the information put into About Us yet. The green links at the right side aren't active yet. I haven't advertised the site yet, just put it up to see what kind of bugs might be there. Also, I am really thrilled with the feedback from all of you. I have been too busy to implement any of the suggestions yet, but believe me, I'm taking note of it all. Thanks again!
