site viewing problems - 1/17/2002 15:47:34
The web site is this
http://www.mickelsontrailaffiliates.com
My problem is that I've had two interested affiliates say they can't get the site to come up. I went directly to their house watched him use the e-mail link in outlook express. Then explorer looked for the site and came back with a 404 message. SO I went directly to internet explorer typed in the address and it came up. The server host is TheHostFactory.com with Gil, and I don't think his server is the problem. What can I do to help solve this problem?

Thanks,
Judy

Hi Judy,

I just copied and pasted the address here into email, sent it to myself (Outlook Express) and it worked fine. Are you sure it was typed into their email correctly and that they don't have some kind of block set in their email or vscan?

I think, therefore I am, I think.

I sent the e-mail to them, so that was o.k. I don't think they had v-scan, but they do have a small ISP provider and a long uploading times. Do you think it timed out between outlook bringing up the program and just going directly to explorer?
Thanks Mike for checking!
Judy

I suppose it could have timed out. Regretfully (HeHe) I'm at home using a cable connection and can't check using the crappy speeds I have at work.

I think, therefore I am, I think.
