DSA -> to direct an old page to a new one (4/5/2001 20:40:00)

I have an Intranet at my work, and I changed the location of my site. When I enter the old URL I would like to be directed to the new URL, how can I make it?

Hi,

It has been a while and AI am going from memory on this one. I believe the syntax is...

<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="5; URL=http://www.yourdomain.com/newpage.html">

Hope this helps,

Brian

Add this line right after your opening <HTML> tag.

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5; url=yoursitename.htm">

The content="5; indicates how many seconds to pause before jumping to the new site. If you want to jump without a pause, just set this to "0" (zero).

Hope this helps.
