Table Cell Background Pictures - 7/11/2001 20:32:00
I've been having problems with displaying background pictures for table cells for about a year now. I have a simple table layout, one column using a .jpg as its background, and the next column using another .jpg.In preview or in IE the backgrounds never show up correctly, usually only a few of the cells in the column display. I've found that highlighting the text infront of the background forces some of it to appear. If I rapidly click on the table as a whole in the browser the backgrounds suddenly appear. I've noticed this on all computers I've used, ranging from office ones to my own home computer. Suprisingly enough, for me, it displays the cells correctly in Netscape. Can someone post a solution to this problem, or does Frontpage have an issue coding something for one of its own browser? :P A few examples of the pages in question are: http://www.apxonline.com/reps/california.htm http://www.apxonline.com/reps/kansas.htm Thank you in advance, Chad

I dont know whether the colour on my monitor is up the spout but I couldnt see any background pictures at all. I ended up saving the page then looking in the folder, found the images, but when I opened them they just looked black like the page background.

sorry, I didnt explain properly in my post. The images are there, I only cant see them because on my monitor/browser (ie5.5) they are exactly the same colour as your background page. I just clicked on the link you gave to your images and the images just viewed as black squares.(or very dark squares)
