multiple email returns from FP form - 1/22/2002 14:39:20
Apologies if this was already discussed; has anybody had problems with getting, say 2-5 email returns from the same form? It only happens occasionally. I use a custom confirmation page if that helps. I assumed it happened cause the user keeps hitting the submit button without waiting for the confirmation page to come up. But I am thinking maybe not.

Back when these Forums were a single FP disc group, it used to be common for double and triple posts to happen when the groups were getting full and slow. People thought that the first click didn't work.
My contact form is a simple FP email form, however, and I rarely get multiple submissions. I think it does happen occaisionally when someone double clicks the submit button.

Thanks Thomas. Does anyone know of a way to set up an intermediate page that comes up fast and says , "please wait a moment while we process and confirm your message." ?
