Win2K, FP2002, & security - 1/26/2002 18:06:16
I'm building a new win2k server. It's strictly as server, so I'm using local security. There isn't a domain, just a workgroup. I added FP 2002 extensions. I added a site in IIS 5 and clicked on add FP extensions to the web. This worked fine. I then tried to manage the extensions and it pops up a Network Password Logon. I was logged on as administrator and proceeded to entry my admin logon and password and domain in every concievable way I could think of It wouldn't let me in. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas would be appreciated. This is getting very frustrating.

Nick, check the security settings on the site and see if it's set for windows authentication, if so change it to basic authentication and try again. Applied Innovations
http://www.appliedi.net/
FrontPage Web Hosting
